UCLA Student Exposes Planned Parenthood Cover-Up on 'O'Reilly Factor'
By Doug Huntington, Christian Post Reporter Sat, May. 19 2007 Full Article

Lila Rose, an 18-year-old student from UCLA who recorded herself receiving controversial advice from a Planned Parenthood Los Angeles (PPLA), was on the "O'Reilly Factor" news program Thursday night.

"If you're 15, we have to report it. If you're not, if you're older
than that, then we don't need to," explained the employee in the
recording. "You could say 16 ... well, just figure out a birth date
that works. And I don't know anything."

Planned Parenthood volunteer blames "virgin pledges" for teens getting STDs
STOPP Report, April 9, 2008

It is not that often that we start off the WSR with reporting on a letter to the editor from a Planned Parenthood volunteer, but this letter was so absurd that it made the top story.

In the Canton, Ohio Repository, Nancy Dollard, a PP volunteer, blamed the increase in STDs among young people on "virgin pledges." PP is running out of excuses for why its own "sex education" is not stopping the spread of STDs, while PP and its philosophies are actually part of the reason WHY young people are participating in sexual behavior outside of marriage.

Dollard's exact comment was, "Unfortunately because of ‘virgin pledges‚' teens who don't want to get pregnant end up engaging in unprotected oral and anal sex that results in a sexually transmitted disease." This is obviously quite a stretch to try to convince people to support PP. PP's philosophy does not even come close to the reality behind the promises young people make to save themselves for marriage.

The comments made in this letter to the editor are typical of PP and its supporters. PP will continue to try to brainwash more young people and their parents into believing these lies.  We encourage all of you to continue to spread the message of purity and true love, the anti-Planned Parenthood way, and praise our young people who choose to live the life of chastity.

US Bishops' ad campaign targeted for suppression in San Francisco
Full Article

San Francisco, January 30 (CNA).-A pro-life campaign sponsored by the U.S. Catholic Bishops has drawn the ire of a San Francisco chapter of Planned Parenthood, which is trying to have the campaign's radio advertisements removed from local stations.

The Second Look Project, sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, says on its website that it presents "basic facts" regarding abortion, offering "information to help people make informed decisions based on fact rather than emotion."

One of the radio ads, titled "Heartbeat," begins with a thumping heartbeat.

"Hear that?" says the announcer. "It's the heartbeat of an infant in the womb at six months."  The announcer then describes the heart rate of the child and how his or her chances of survival would be greater than 50%."

""But even today, his mother could choose to have an abortion," the advertisement continues.  The ad says that Roe v. Wade legalized abortion "for virtually any reason" through all nine months of pregnancy.

Planned Parenthood's Golden Gate chapter has begun an e-mail campaign to have the radio spots taken off the air, according to LifeSite News. One e-mail read, "They're running ads in the Bay Area, Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C., that tout lies and contain gross inaccuracies and pro-choice activists throughout the Bay Area are asking us to do something about it."  More...

Washington DC, April 24 (CNA).-Representative Bill Sali (R-Idaho) on Wednesday spoke during a U.S. House hearing on abstinence-only government programs, saying such programs were effective at promoting healthy relationships and contributing to a decline in teen pregnancy in ways that did not offend the moral and religious convictions of many communities...

"Unfortunately," he said, "most of America does not know that abstinence education does teach teens about contraception and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including symptoms and modes of transmission along with the relative effectiveness of contraception methods." More...
